Her Story
About Emmy
I've been working with community banks and credit unions for about 10 years, and I am very passionate about serving community-based financial institutions. I focus a lot on credit unions because they're not for profit and are more about just helping their community. I'm currently at Eltropy, where I recently started because they're really exploding in the CFI industry. My role for the past 10 years, whether at my past company or this current one, has been as a consultant and sales professional. I travel to at least one, if not two, sometimes three conferences a month, and I'm hands-on at the banks and credit unions, working with their staff on implementing our solutions so they can better help their community. I work with a solid team of very highly skilled professionals. We are a highly AI-focused company, pushing very strongly towards Agentic AI right now, which credit unions have found very helpful. Their members really like it, and it just creates a really good experience for everybody.

01What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The industry is really popping right now, so there's not a whole lot of uphill challenges for us. I would say the main challenge is that sometimes people are slower to adopt AI. They don't feel like they're ready for AI, or maybe it's too soon. It's not a huge challenge because more times than not, they are really receptive to it. But AI is a new feature, a new product, and so a lot of it is just getting people to understand that it is here to work for you, not against you.
