Encarni Gallardo

Encarni Gallardo, MBA, is an experienced nonprofit executive, educator, and community leader serving as the Executive Director of Children’s Service Society of Utah. With more than 25 years of experience in management, training, and organizational leadership, she has dedicated her career to strengthening programs and services that support children, families, and communities. In her role as Executive Director, Encarni provides strategic leadership, oversees budgets, contracts, and grants, supports staff development, and advances the organization’s mission of ensuring every child has a safe, loving, and nurturing environment.

Originally from Spain, Encarni began her professional journey as an elementary school teacher before moving to the United States and continuing her work in education. Her passion for supporting children and families led her to the nonprofit sector, where she spent more than two decades developing programs, managing teams, and creating community partnerships. She has also owned and operated a child care development center, worked as a professional trainer for adults, and presented at conferences on leadership, social development, personal growth, and financial topics. Encarni holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and has completed executive education through Harvard Business School.

A passionate advocate for children and families, Encarni believes effective leadership is built on compassion, collaboration, and empowering others to achieve their goals. She serves as Board President of Child Care Aware of America and remains actively involved in advancing early childhood education and family support initiatives. Guided by gratitude, continuous learning, and a commitment to service, Encarni strives to create meaningful impact by supporting her team, strengthening communities, and ensuring that every child and family has the opportunity to thrive.
