Her Interview

Ten minutes with Erica

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to having the faith to follow the path God placed before me. What began as an unexpected opportunity in customer service ultimately led me into the dental insurance industry, where I continued to grow over the past 20 years. By trusting the opportunities presented to me and remaining committed to continuous growth, I have built a career that ultimately led me to launch my own business.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

“I was taught early in my career that relationships and your reputation are everything. Always be honest, do what’s best for the client, and never compromise your integrity just to make a sale. That advice has stayed with me throughout my career.”

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Believe in yourself and trust your abilities, even when the path ahead feels uncertain. Have faith in yourself and in God, remain committed to your goals, and give yourself the time to grow. Success rarely happens overnight, so be patient, stay determined, and allow yourself the opportunity to build something meaningful.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

“I think the biggest challenge is that dental insurance is becoming increasingly complex, while many dental teams don't have the time or resources to keep up with all the changes. At the same time, I see that as a huge opportunity. With the right knowledge and guidance, practices can make better decisions about their networks, improve their reimbursement, and become much more confident handling insurance. That's really where I feel my experience can make a difference.”

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I believe integrity is the foundation of everything I do. I value honesty, trust, faith, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to helping others succeed. I strive to build lasting relationships through transparency, ethical business practices, and service that always puts my clients' best interests first.
