Erica Jones

She is an accomplished nonprofit executive, development leader, and founder based in Beaufort, North Carolina. She serves as Executive Director of the Carteret Education Foundation and as Development Director of the Carteret County Public School Foundation, where she leads major donor cultivation, fundraising strategy, and community engagement in support of public education. Her earlier career includes founding Sunshine Spaces, a nonprofit she led for nine years that created dream rooms for children battling life-threatening illnesses, providing safe, fun, and interactive spaces for them to rest, heal, and be a kid, while also creating rooms for siblings as part of a family-focused support model. She also served as Director of Strategic Innovation at Christ's Haven for Children in Fort Worth, Texas, where she led volunteer management and nonprofit program development, and worked in sales at Viva Wyndham Resorts. She holds the Certified Education Foundation Leaders credential from the National Association of Education Foundations.
