Erica Olenski

Professional Biography

Erica Olenski is a healthcare strategist, patient advocate, nonprofit leader, and communications executive dedicated to advancing patient-centered care and improving healthcare experiences for children and families. She is the Founder and Principal Strategist of Monarch Futures, where she advises organizations on healthcare innovation, patient advocacy, strategic communications, and stakeholder engagement.

She is also the Founder and Executive Director of August's Artists, a nonprofit organization inspired by her family's healthcare journey that brings healing, creative expression, and advocacy to pediatric patients and their families. Through this work, she has become a recognized voice in patient experience, family-centered care, and healthcare transformation.

Previously, Erica served in leadership roles at FINN Partners, including Vice President and Associate Vice President, where she advised healthcare, technology, and advocacy organizations on strategic communications and patient engagement initiatives.

Drawing on more than six years of experience as the primary caregiver for her son during his battle with recurrent metastatic brain cancer, Erica brings a unique perspective that bridges lived experience, healthcare systems, and innovation. Her work focuses on ensuring that patient and caregiver voices shape the future of healthcare delivery, policy, and technology.
