Her Story

About Erica

I spent six years in upper-level corporate roles before founding Corporate Parker LLC. Throughout my corporate career, I consistently encountered the same challenge: organizations were often trying to solve complex business problems without fully addressing the people, leadership, and systems at the center of those problems.

I was able to create meaningful change within the organizations I served, but I began to recognize that the impact I wanted to make could not be limited to one organization at a time. I wanted to build something that allowed me to partner with CEOs, executive teams, and organizations at different stages of growth—helping them navigate the challenges that come with scaling, workforce transformation, organizational change, and an increasingly AI-driven marketplace.

That vision became Corporate Parker LLC, a Human Transformation & AI Strategy Consultancy.

My goal has always been to make strategic insight accessible beyond large corporations. I believe smaller businesses, emerging organizations, and growing leaders deserve access to the same level of strategic thinking and organizational support that larger companies can afford. Whether an organization is scaling, struggling with retention, navigating leadership challenges, or trying to understand how AI can improve the way it operates, I help leaders identify what is really happening beneath the surface and determine what needs to change.

My approach is rooted in both experience and understanding. I combine my corporate background with an academic foundation in psychology and counseling to examine organizations through both a business and human lens. Because organizations are not simply made up of strategies, systems, and numbers—they are made up of people.

And now, as AI rapidly changes the way organizations operate, I believe the next evolution of business requires us to think differently about the relationship between people, technology, and work.

I help organizations identify where AI can create meaningful value, uncover opportunities to improve workflows and efficiency, and translate business challenges into practical AI solutions that technology partners can develop. My role is often to serve as the bridge between what the organization needs and what technology can build, ensuring that innovation actually improves the human experience rather than creating unnecessary complexity or fear.

Today, my work spans executive and leadership transformation, organizational and workforce transformation, human-centered AI strategy, AI solution design, change management, and fractional strategic advisory. Whether I am helping an executive strengthen their leadership, an organization identify the root cause of performance challenges, or a team determine how AI can improve the way they work, the objective remains the same:

Create clarity. Build structure. Transform intentionally.

I remain closely connected to the evolving needs of the market through client work, research, industry trends, and continued learning. I am constantly looking at what organizations will need next—not simply what they need today.

At the heart of my philosophy is a simple belief:

Organizations should not have to choose between business performance and human potential. The strongest organizations learn how to build both.

When a company grows, its people should have the opportunity to grow with it. When technology advances, people should be equipped to advance with it. And when leaders are faced with complex challenges, they should have the clarity and strategic support to make decisions that move the entire organization forward.

That is the work of Corporate Parker.

Leadership. People. Strategy. AI.

Helping organizations redesign how people lead, work, and innovate.

Ten minutes with Erica

01What do you attribute your success to?

At my core, I am deeply rooted in my faith, and I recognize God as the foundation of my journey, my leadership, and the work I am called to do.

Throughout my career, there have been moments when the path forward was not obvious. Navigating corporate environments, particularly as a Black woman, required resilience, discernment, confidence, and the ability to recognize opportunities even when they did not initially look the way I expected.

I have experienced doors opening that I could not have opened on my own. I believe those opportunities were intentional, but I also believe that an open door requires stewardship.

For me, faith has never meant passivity.

It has meant being prepared when the opportunity arrives.

I have made it a priority to enter every room with confidence, bring excellence to every assignment, and use whatever influence I have been given to create meaningful impact. I don't believe leadership is simply about holding a position or having a title. Leadership is about what you do with the responsibility and influence entrusted to you.

That philosophy has shaped the way I lead and the way I advise organizations today.

I believe strong leadership requires both strategy and self-awareness. Leaders must understand their organizations, but they must also understand themselves. They must be able to navigate pressure, make difficult decisions, communicate clearly, develop people, and create environments where others can perform at their highest level.

It is also why I believe transformation must remain human-centered.

Organizations can implement new systems, introduce new technology, and develop sophisticated strategies, but sustainable transformation ultimately depends on the people responsible for carrying it forward.

As the business world enters an increasingly AI-driven era, this belief has become even more important to me. Technology can accelerate what an organization is capable of doing, but leadership determines how that technology is stewarded.

My work is therefore grounded in three principles:

Faith.

I lead from conviction, purpose, and a belief that what we build should have meaning beyond ourselves.

Excellence.

I believe opportunity should be met with preparation, accountability, and a commitment to doing exceptional work.

Stewardship.

I believe leadership is about maximizing what has been entrusted to you—your people, resources, influence, ideas, technology, and opportunities.

These principles have built trust throughout my career. People know they can rely on me to bring clarity to complexity, follow through on what I commit to, lead with integrity, and remain focused on the outcome.

And that is the same standard I bring to Corporate Parker.

I don't simply want organizations to grow. I want them to be equipped to steward their growth well.

I want leaders to become stronger.

I want people to have the opportunity to thrive.

I want organizations to use technology intelligently.

And I want the systems we build to support the people who have been entrusted to operate them.

Lead with conviction. Build with excellence. Transform with intention.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

"Never box yourself into one space. Learn everything that you can. Soak it all up. And the sky's literally the limit. Like, there's only a limitation that you put on yourself. So take the limitation off, and you can go wherever you want to go. Lastly, don't be afraid to pivot. Stay forever flexible, you never know what's on the other side of the pivot."

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

"Don't be intimidated if you don't see a blueprint. I always say this all the time - if you don't see a table for yourself, make the table. Don't wait to be invited to that table. Bring your own chair to the table if you have to."

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

We’re in a constantly evolving market, especially with the rise of AI, and it’s both exciting and demanding at the same time. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is the importance of staying a student. No matter how much experience you have, there’s always something new to learn, and approaching the work with humility keeps you sharp and adaptable.

The challenges are real. The pace of change means you’re often solving complex problems in real time; whether that’s navigating budget limitations, shifting priorities, or unexpected obstacles within organizations. Not every issue has a quick fix, and some of the most meaningful solutions require patience, strategy, and collaboration.

At the same time, that’s where the opportunity lives. As the landscape evolves, we’re able to bring real value to the companies we work with, helping them simplify processes, use AI more effectively, and ultimately create more space for what matters most. I love being able to introduce businesses to tools and systems they may not have considered before and watching that shift give them a competitive edge. It’s about helping people not just keep up, but move forward with confidence and clarity.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity is foundational for me. I believe in being honorable in every space I step into and ensuring that my actions align with what I say. It’s not just about intention, it’s about how that integrity shows up in the way I work, the systems I build, and how I engage with others. Trust is earned through consistency in those moments.

That leads directly to my second core value: consistency. I believe in showing up the same way every time, reliable, prepared, and committed. Whether in business or in life, consistency builds credibility, and credibility is what allows people to truly depend on you.
