Her Story

About Erica

Erica is a fitness entrepreneur, EMS (Electric Muscle Stimulation) specialist, and founder of Electric Sculpt, a private training studio dedicated to helping women achieve their health and wellness goals in a supportive, judgment-free environment. Through innovative EMS technology, Erica provides low-impact, full-body workouts that deliver efficient results in just 20 minutes, making fitness accessible for women of all ages and fitness levels. Her clientele primarily includes menopausal and post-menopausal women, as well as those recovering from injuries or seeking an alternative to traditional gym settings. With a lifelong passion for empowering women through fitness, Erica previously owned and operated a successful women-and-children-focused fitness studio in New York, offering personal training, group fitness classes, youth programs, camps, and special events. A former fitness competitor, she has always approached health and wellness with a deep curiosity about the transformative power of exercise and nutrition. After stepping away from entrepreneurship to focus on raising her son, Erica felt called back to her purpose following the loss of both of her parents due to lifestyle-related illnesses.

An experience that reinforced her commitment to helping others prioritize their health. Today, Erica combines personalized EMS training with accountability coaching through her signature six-week Feminine Sculpt program, where women track progress, build confidence, and connect with others navigating similar life transitions. Beyond fitness results, she is passionate about fostering a strong community of women who support and inspire one another. As Electric Sculpt continues to grow, Erica is focused on expanding her impact through brand licensing opportunities and plans to open a second location, bringing her unique approach to women's wellness to even more communities.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Erica

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to trusting my intuition and not allowing fear to become stronger than my purpose. Every meaningful opportunity in my life, from building businesses to studying abroad to founding Electric Sculpt began with taking a chance before I was ready. This wasn't the example I grew up with. In my family the message was always "play it safe and stay small, don't risk and don't take chances." It wasn't exactly the environment that nurtured self-confidence. Despite that, I carried a quiet belief that I was supported and protected, and I chose to trust it. The more I trusted that feeling, the more life opened up and the more opportunities I had. This taught me to choose courage over fear, and to trust that if your heart is calling you toward something, the path will reveal itself. That mindset has kept me grounded and grateful. The more gratitude I practice the more opportunities I am given. I don't believe that to be a coincidence.

A huge part of that mindset has always included an aspect of giving back. In my 20's volunteering abroad in places like Thailand, Nicaragua, and South Africa, gave me a global perspective on helping people who are underprivileged, at risk or in need. Those experiences reinforced something I had always felt, that my purpose was rooted in service, specifically to women and children. Losing both my parents to lifestyle-related illnesses - my mom in 2020 to kidney failure and my dad in 2024 to liver failure - has only deepened that purpose. It reminded me that health is our greatest investment and asset. And if I can help even one woman, one mother, become stronger, healthier, more confident so she can show up for her family than I am fulfilling my purpose and consider that to be a success.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Success isn't something you chase, it's the result of living with courage, purpose and a commitment to helping others.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Trust yourself and stay authentic. Lead with integrity, keep your word to yourself and to others.

Be kind but discerning. Not everyone will have your best interests at heart, so protect your values and boundaries, advocate for yourself and never compromise your character for opportunity. If you are going to be a leader in any industry you need to lead by example.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge in the field of EMS training is that most people do not know what Electro Muscle Stimulation is. Education is a big part of the industry right now. I find it important and useful to go out into the communities and show people a safe and efficient alternative to strength training. The response is always very positive which excites me even more. This is one of the reasons most EMS studios offer trial sessions. It helps eliminate fears and allows people to experience the feeling of their muscles contracting via stimulation and without having to lift heavy weights.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

My most important job is raising my son. Having my son was my biggest dream. I feel it's the only true way to leave a legacy of your values and to instill them into future generations.

Since he is getting older, I feel called to go back to contributing to society at large. There are so many people out there that need encouragement and inspiration and I value being a trusted source for that.
