Her Interview
Ten minutes with Ericka
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to hard work and determination. I like to accomplish stuff, and I think I'm a visionary.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say to be bold, don't be afraid to ask questions, challenge ideas, and why not?
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges is that dealers sell and market our products, and sometimes customers buy from dealers instead of directly, affecting compensation. We're trying to be more strategic with SKUs and bundling. Also, our commerce site is new, so companies are less inclined to set up new vendors.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Some important values are being ethical in everything I do, trying to be fair to other companies, my own company, and myself. Ethics are paramount to my career. It's also important to sell something you believe in and feel good about.
