What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to:
A customer-first mindset. By focusing on building genuine relationships and delivering exceptional service, I create experiences that lead to trust, referrals, and long-term loyalty. I believe success comes from understanding what the customer truly needs and consistently delivering on that promise.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I ever received is to keep yourself updated with new technologies. Right now everything is AI, so you need to keep growing and don't stop. Don't think, oh, I know everything. Always continue your education. That's what put me where I am today. I'm a fast learner, and I'm always willing to learn new things. Even when my current company reached out to me about window treatments, I told them I never worked with shades and don't know anything about them, but I can learn. That willingness to keep learning and growing is what has allowed me to succeed and be recognized as a high performer.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would encourage young women entering the industry to stay confident in their value and always lead with a customer-first mindset.
Focus on building genuine relationships, listen carefully to what people need, and don't be afraid to go the extra mile. Success comes from consistency, authenticity, and a willingness to learn. Also, never underestimate the power of supporting one another-when women uplift each other, everyone grows.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
When you love what you do, you don't work. That's my motto, and it's what drives me every day. I believe in leading by example to inspire others, and my mission is to bring positive energy and great customer service to everything I do. In my personal life, I practice gratitude and dedicate myself to staying healthy through fitness, which has been part of my life for 25 years. Everything changed for me when I was introduced to fitness - the way I eat, the way I do everything. I appreciate my body and keep it very healthy. I'm thankful to God, and I'm very much about positive talk with my family and friends. I always try to show that your inner life matters, and taking care of my body means I love myself. I don't drink, I don't smoke, so I take care of myself. Happiness is the main thing - happiness takes me everywhere. When you're happy, that's what matters most.
