Her Interview
Ten minutes with Erika
01What do you attribute your success to?
Having a mentor who believed in me when I didn't believe in myself. My vice president Renee Harmon empowered me to lead authentically and see my potential, which changed everything and allowed me to develop leaders.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Be very passionate about developing others because there will be moments you question yourself. Focus on the impact that is bigger than yourself and the why behind what you do, which helps motivate you to keep going even when you don't feel like it every day.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
AI is a big challenge because leaders use it for general answers but leadership requires nuance and specific background for each person and situation. It leads to surface-level support instead of developing real skills.
