About Erin
Erin Redman serves as director of the Educational Sustainability Doctoral Program at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where she is also an associate professor in the School of Education. For the past eight years, she has led the development of this doctoral program, building innovative pedagogies into its structure. Redman earned her PhD in sustainability from Arizona State University. Her work extends beyond academia into community initiatives, including her role on the Sustainability Commission for the City of Stevens Point, which reports actionable sustainability items to the mayor, and her position on the board of directors of Recycling Connections, a nonprofit based in Wisconsin. Redman emphasizes the social justice components of sustainability, aiming to create opportunities and safety for all people to thrive. She has authored a dozen or more peer-reviewed journal articles.
