Her Story
About Erynne
I began my journey as a professional wellness practitioner in the summer of 2020 when I became a certified transformative breathwork facilitator. Four years later, in the spring of 2024, I became a registered yoga teacher with 200 hours of training, and I have been building on both of those practices ever since. I teach at five yoga studios combined and also teach yoga once a week at San Francisco State University, where I am completing my Bachelor's in Psychology and will graduate in 10 days. I am also a well pro for Athleta, where I lead breathwork workshops in their retail shops before they open. I have had the immense honor of doing numerous workshops at various branches of the San Francisco Public Library. What I am very intentional about in my work is not only connecting with anyone who has opted to take one of my classes or workshops, but doing everything I can to remove any sense or hint of it being transactional. I am all about creating a container so that people can have an experience where they are in their bodies, where they are grounded, where they feel safe as big emotions come up, and where they feel equipped and empowered to navigate how they are going to transmute and transform these sensations, feelings, and memories that come up. That is one of the things that really lights me up about being a wellness practitioner. It empowers the individual to reconnect with themselves so that they can learn how to navigate both on and off of their mat things that come up, and that they know that their breath is always available to them. They know that they have permission to pause, to breathe, that it is okay and necessary to normalize ease, peace, quiet, slowing down, and not to buy into that narrative of being lazy or being selfish.

01What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Connection is the underlying value in everything I do, whether it is breathwork, whether it is yoga, whether it is indoors or outdoors. I am very intentional about not only connecting with anyone who has opted to take one of my classes or workshops, but doing everything I can to remove any sense or hint of it being transactional. I am all about creating a container so that people can have an experience where they are in their bodies, where they are grounded, where they feel safe as big emotions come up, and where they feel equipped and empowered to navigate how they are going to transmute and transform these sensations, feelings, and memories. I believe it is okay and necessary to normalize ease, peace, quiet, slowing down, and not to buy into that narrative of being lazy or being selfish. I also recognize the importance and significance and immense honor of mentorship and being able to give back. I am super passionate about leveling the playing field so that cost is not a barrier for individuals who want to learn, grow, and step into that space of helping other people grow.
