Her Story
About Esperance
I did logistics in the military for 4 years, and that's really what led me to this industry - that's the reason I wanted to pursue my career in supply chain. I've been in the field for 5 years now. I moved to Texas in December and was looking for a job when this construction opportunity came along, so I took it. It's really good because I get to do both - I do logistics, I do supply chain, and also construction. People think logistics is just easy, but it's deeper than that. What I love most about the work is the freedom of working from home and the flexibility - there's not a lot of pressure, you work on your own time as long as you get the job done. I keep myself motivated and try to learn more every day, trying to add to my knowledge as much as I can. Right now I'm learning pivot tables, anything to just boost my career. It's okay to work for people for now, but I want to start my own logistics company with drivers.
