Esta Crompton has been working in the financial industry for 35 years as a Mortgage Loan Specialist in Vero Beach, Florida. After a life-changing accident in 1987 that derailed her original dream of working in fashion, she entered the mortgage lending field. She built her expertise by navigating her own real estate challenges and then assisting others, particularly first-time homebuyers and self-employed entrepreneurs who struggle with traditional bank loans. Crompton is known for completing complex, non-traditional loans that others decline, maintaining a 99 percent close rate by focusing on what works for each client. She draws on her personal experiences of loss and recovery, along with her faith, to approach her work with patience, empathy, and dedication, often coordinating with multiple parties to ensure successful outcomes.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Keep on going. Anyone could be an entrepreneur and have that freedom, you have to work, and you're gonna have days where it's not gonna be easy. I still have my days too, but you gotta put through it. You just gotta be positive. It's the attitude, right? Don't ever give up.
