What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a combination of hard work, determination, and a genuine willingness to learn from the insights and experiences of others. I’ve been fortunate to have exceptional teachers and leaders who challenged me in meaningful ways and helped me grow through complex situations. I’ve also been intentional about speaking up about my career goals and advocating for my own development.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
One of the best pieces of advice I received came right before I moved to the U.S. I was worried about my English because I didn’t sound like a native speaker. My manager at the time told me, ‘Your English is more than good enough. You bring skills and expertise that matter far more than an accent—and your new manager, the Global Compensation Director at HQ, already knows that
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to seek out guidance and never be afraid to ask questions. Build a strong network of peers and mentors, and stay proactive in keeping up with the latest technological changes and trends. Be open to new opportunities, even when you don't feel completely confident or when they aren't your first choice. Trust your instincts, and trust the people who know your strengths well.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I believe the biggest challenges in our field today involve integrating AI in a truly effective and strategic way—leveraging employees’ strengths and skills while eliminating work that adds little value. I also think some of the foundational compensation practices will need to evolve sooner rather than later so we can better reward emerging talent and align with how work is changing.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that matter most to me are staying true to who I am, treating others with respect, doing what’s right, and leading with empathy. I believe in helping others, staying purpose‑driven, and continually growing—no matter the circumstances.
