The best career advice I’ve ever received came from my first boss, Angela Stanfield, who took a chance on me and became an incredible mentor. She guided me early in my career, helping me build a strong foundation and teaching me the importance of always putting my best foot forward. Through her support, I learned how motivation and perseverance can open doors to opportunities I might never have imagined. Her guidance has been instrumental in shaping my professional journey.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to prioritize your own growth and invest in self-improvement. There is always room to grow, and early in your career, it’s important to identify new steppingstones that will help you advance. Focus on understanding your strengths and areas for development, and continuously challenge yourself to expand your skills, knowledge, and network. By doing so, you’ll position yourself to evolve and thrive throughout your career.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are balance, energy, and growth. I prioritize daily meditation and grounding practices to stay centered, and I stay active through sports, working out, and dancing salsa. I love trying new experiences and channel that energy into both my career and helping others. Maintaining vitality and curiosity allows me to approach challenges with enthusiasm and a positive mindset.
