Estela Baillergeau

Estela Baillergeau is a makeup artist and instructor in El Paso, Texas. She launched her own business, Estella's Makeup, one year ago after retiring from her role as a paralegal with the FBI. Although her prior career was not in beauty, Estela had long pursued her interest in makeup by taking classes and planned to turn it into a business upon retirement. She now teaches makeup and fashion classes to seniors ranging from age 55 to the 80s at two community college sessions and a recreation center on the west side of town. In addition to instruction on application techniques, she covers modeling walks for fashion shows, provides empowering quotes, and offers guidance on wigs and related styling. Estela's work stems from her experiences as a widow whose mother passed away two years ago; she channels this into helping other seniors, many of them widows, build confidence and remain active rather than isolating at home.
