About Ester

Ester Gramegna, MS, SHRM-CP, is the Head of Human Resources for the U.S. operations of Aventum Group, a global managing general agent (MGA), where she partners with executive leadership to build high-performing teams and drive strategic people initiatives. With eight years of human resources experience spanning both U.S. and international operations, she specializes in talent acquisition, organizational development, mergers and acquisitions, employee engagement, and creating scalable HR strategies that support business growth. Known for her people-first leadership style, Ester leverages technology, data, and innovation to enhance the employee experience while fostering inclusive, high-performing workplace cultures.

Prior to her current role, Ester built a diverse background in human resources, organizational leadership, and behavioral health. She played a key role in building HR functions from the ground up and gained extensive experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, organizational change, and global workforce initiatives. Before transitioning into human resources, she practiced as a family counselor trained in cognitive behavioral therapy and contributed to research on anxiety and depression at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. This unique combination of clinical, research, and business experience enables her to approach leadership with empathy, analytical thinking, and a deep understanding of human behavior.

Ester earned a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Temple University. She is a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), holds certifications in Mental Health First Aid, and serves on the APCIA committee. Find a mentor that can be really truly supportive. Stay always up to date with the latest legislations, regulations. Invest constantly in training and development.
