Her Interview
Ten minutes with Eva
01What do you attribute your success to?
I've always been very hardworking and had a clear vision for my career and life. I never steered away from that vision even during economic downturns or challenges, always plowing ahead toward my goals. I lead with passion, conviction, and hard work, and I don't take no for an answer when pursuing what I believe is best.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Take risks. Always take a meeting and a conversation because you never know where it's going to lead. Trust your gut and believe in yourself, especially when making career changes or pivots. Be resilient, versatile, and evolve your skill set. This is particularly important for women who sometimes doubt themselves more than needed.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The economic and political environment is challenging, with sustainability and climate work facing reduced support and companies changing their language and investments. On the positive side, companies recognize real business risks from climate events and are investing more in sustainable strategies for supply chains, energy, and operations, seeing it as pivotal for change and action. AI growth adds complexity with impacts on water, electricity, and communities.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity, understanding and empathy, and resilience are the most important values to me.
