Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to cultivating a positive mindset regardless of circumstances, surrounding myself with inspiring people and learning what I can from them. Having great mentors has been the cornerstone of my success. Also, having the tenacity to get up whenever I failed, as failure is just part of the journey to success. I learned to never loose sight of my dreams and to remember why I started.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Make people laugh - if you can make people laugh, you help them relax and they will trust you. Laughter is the best medicine, it brings people together, builds communities and makes the world a better place, which is why I devoted time to learn and master the art of humor and making people laugh.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Believe in yourself - build an unshakable confidence in yourself and don't relay to find it "out there" or get it from other people. Find mentors or coaches to help you on your journey. You don't have to do it alone. Learn from both men and women, because they have different mindsets and gift to share with you. Learn how to make friends and influence people and use your powers for good. Also learn how to advocate for yourself and find other people to champion your cause.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

There is a lot of change and uncertainty in the world and in the industry. It seems that change is the only constant, but if you can learn how to manage change effectively, you can thrive in any situation, especially when others are struggling. There are opportunities in all situations if you are tuned into them.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

My purpose in life is to make the world a better place, which can take many shapes depending on the situation or the environment, but that is my North Star, my guiding principle, my compass.

I value my relationships and never loose sight of the fact that leadership is all about people - making sure they feel supported and have what they need to do their best work.

I also value balance and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, because the opposite can be detrimental to our health. I manage stress by maintaining physical fitness, dancing, hiking, and nurturing my love for animals (especially dogs) and travel. I enjoy cruises as a way to explore new places and recharge at the same time, blending adventure with balance and well-being.
