Ten minutes with Eve
01What do you attribute your success to?
My hard work and the efforts that I put into it to get here. I fought so hard to get here even with obstacles.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
I could go beyond where I'm at right now. They see something in me and if it just takes that right person to help me nurture it. Take risks, don't be fearful, just try it.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't give anyone any reasons to second-guess you. If you're gonna give your all, give all of it. Keep shining, don't give up. Motivate yourself in all directions. Don't settle yourself short. Carry yourself with pride. A closed mouth don't get fed, so if you don't ask you don't get.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Getting through the door is hard because everybody has been there for years. It's time-consuming to advance to higher positions like Director of Operations without someone retiring or being terminated.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Respect, integrity, communication. Be genuine, be the story not just sell it.
