About Evelyn

I started my career in hair care, standing behind a chair. The next 15 years is where I discovered my business mindset and people skills.

I worked with Diane Calta managing multiple salon locations for the Regis corporation, then moved to Rejuvenate doing luxury salons and spas in senior living facilities from California to Minnesota to Florida. This work was incredibly rewarding because residents in that demographic often don't get the loving touch and human interaction they need as they age.

I even did a stint managing spas and salons as an outlet director for Marriott.

When it was time for a career change, I took on the challenge of HVAC and air conditioning, curious to see how my customer service skills would translate to a male-dominated technical field.

It turned out those relationship-building skills transferred beautifully, whether I'm working with vendors, customers, or handling compliance and legal concerns. I've been with my current company for 9 years now, starting as a Home Depot program manager, then holding nearly every position in the office before moving to corporate care handling national customer concerns from thermostat issues to DOJ and BBB situations.

I grew the quality program starting with Florida, then moved to West and Central, and now I've had the entire East Coast for about 3 years.

My biggest accomplishment has been building consistency in the quality department and establishing the longest longevity of quality assurance managers in Florida, while consistently excelling in our NPS, VOC, driving revenue and LTR scores.

Being a woman in an 80% male industry has taught me how to frame difficult messages with respect and build strong relationships even when having those awkward, difficult conversations that sometimes men don't appreciate being delivered from a woman.
