About Evita
I am a publishing author specializing in children's books. I started in this field around 2018 and handle writing, marketing, social media, content creation, and formatting. One of my proudest moments was having my first book read live on YouTube by Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, through her Storytime channel. I also focus on building partnerships with organizations that value my stories and want to share them on their platforms. Outside of writing, I work as a CRM specialist and database manager, bringing a certification in database management to my professional background.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my family and close friends that have supported me and inspired me.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
If you have a story, just write it down. Everything else is secondary.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say to take breaks and time out for yourself to have a good work-life balance. Try new things as a writer such as new ways to market yourself and learning new softwares for social media and building a website. Take your time with everything so it's not a rush; it's a marathon not a sprint.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
As a self-published author, the biggest challenge is having to market my books on my own without a team to help.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Being kind, compassionate, respectful, and honest.
