About Eyvonne

Eyvonne Eleko brings more than 13 years of professional experience to her work in accessibility and inclusion. After studying media communications at Eganidia University in Nigeria, she began her career with roles in the financial industry for over six years, followed by positions in healthcare and aerospace. She now focuses on ensuring organizational operations run smoothly, managing budgets, programs, resources, and timelines to meet goals and KPIs. Eyvonne holds certifications as a PMP, in DevOps, as a Certified Scrum Master, in humanitarian work, and as a Certified Disability and Inclusion Accessibility Consultant. She is a member of the Dallas Center for Project Management Professionals, the Certified Scrum Masters organization, and USIDHR. In addition to her professional role, Eyvonne founded the Daughter of Ellen Support and Empowerment Initiative last year, which became official this year in Texas and Nigeria. The nonprofit advocates for inclusive policies and accessibility for neurodivergent individuals and persons with disabilities, including providing ramps and assistive tools in African communities. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in information technology communications.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don't underestimate yourself. Be open to learn from others, whether they're just starting out or they've been in the game before you, just be open-minded, because it will get you far. And most certainly be ready to serve, just because you also learn more by serving.
