About Faith
I've been working in IT for over 20 years, starting with my military service where I spent more than 10 years, including an incredible assignment at the White House from 2004 to 2014. I began as a network and telecom engineer, but after being on call for years, I decided to transition into project management about 6 or 7 years ago. Having that IT background really helps with project management, in my opinion. Now I work for a managed service provider where I'm the senior on the team, managing up to 35 concurrent projects at a time, from small projects to very large corporate implementations. I run entire businesses' IT infrastructure, like Buca de Beppo, where I recently optimized their entire telecom network. My main area of expertise is process improvement and optimization, and I'm passionate about continuous learning because there's always room for improvement with everything. What gives me a thrill is when I can make customers happy with new and improved solutions that are also cheaper. I recently consolidated a company's telecom contracts and was so excited because they got better solutions, better equipment, and saved money. I'm also focused on mentorship, and even though I stepped out of a formal leadership role, I don't need a title to be a leader. What's most important to me is earning the trust of my customers by being transparent with them day-to-day, and developing strong professional relationships where businesses trust me completely. Like with Buca de Beppo, they were in a bad way when I took charge, and now they don't even want to join my calls because they trust that I've got it handled.
