About Faith
Faith Kenney serves as an instructor, department head, and allied health department head at Chester Career College in Chester, Virginia. She brings roughly 30 years of experience in the allied health field, having begun her career as a medical assistant in Ohio where she advanced to teaching and regional director roles over 20 years. After relocating to Virginia, she worked for four years at GDIT, now Maximus, in Medicaid and Medicare, followed by five years teaching elementary grades before joining her current institution six months ago. Kenney earned an associate's degree from RETS Tech, now known as Fortis, and completed a bachelor's degree in health professions and health management from Kettering College in 2011. She credits her success to never giving up and always setting goals to strive for the next level. Her professional values center on connecting deeply with people, helping them advance, and mentoring young women, guided by her faith through God and the Holy Spirit.

01What do you attribute your success to?
Never giving up. Always continuing, always striving for that next goal. I set goals for myself.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Believe in themselves. Get a good mentor, preferably female mentors who understand the load you carry.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Connection with people on a deep level, helping them get to the next level, mentoring young women, through God and the Holy Spirit.
