Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to over a decade of hands-on experience in the automotive industry, starting in an entry-level role and growing into my current position as Production Manager, where I lead a team of 60 technicians in a high-performing service department. I’ve always approached leadership with a focus on performance, respect, and adaptability—values that have helped me build trust and deliver results. Being nominated to speak at the Fixed Ops Roundtable and accepted into leadership training programs at Vaughan Automotive Service College and Model Medics has been both an honor and a reflection of how far women can go in this industry when given the opportunity.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the automotive industry is this: build your value so strongly that the table expands to include you. Don’t wait for a seat—create space with your impact. I’m committed to reshaping the culture through values-driven leadership, focusing on humanity, strength, and collaboration. Lead with purpose, and the right opportunities will follow.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in our field right now is navigating seasonal slowdowns, particularly during the summer months. Reduced customer traffic during these periods can make it difficult to consistently meet minimum performance standards. However, these slow seasons also present an opportunity—to refine internal processes, strengthen team dynamics, and get creative with customer engagement strategies that build long-term loyalty.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are spiritual growth, personal discipline, and leading by example. I believe in creating a culture of performance and respect through hands-on leadership that empowers others. I'm passionate about breaking barriers for women in male-dominated fields and committed to continuous growth—both for myself and the teams I support.
