About Faith
Faith Roska is the Youth Policy Advocacy Coach at Kids Forward, a statewide budget and policy advocacy center based in Madison, Wisconsin. Her work focuses on integrating youth voice and leadership into state-level policy conversations that affect young people, with particular emphasis on marginalized youth and those outside traditional educational paths. She develops curricula and facilitates discussions in alternative high schools to connect youth experiences with policy recommendations, such as smaller class sizes and flexible learning options. Additionally, Faith chairs the Youth Voice Commission, a component of the Governor's Juvenile Justice Commission, where she leads outreach efforts in juvenile detention centers to gather input from impacted youth and inform recommendations on issues like raising the age of automatic adult prosecution and prioritizing care over criminalization. She is currently pursuing a double major in political science and sociology with a law and policy minor, having previously attended military school to complete high school.
