Her Interview
Ten minutes with Fanta
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to independence, continuous education, and using what I learn to empower other women. I built my own company and continue to expand communities designed to give women and mothers practical tools to protect themselves, build financial stability, and create opportunities of their own.
Through consumer and legal education, I help individuals better understand their rights and navigate complex systems, including family law and CPS-related matters. I also believe that empowerment extends beyond legal knowledge—it requires financial education and economic opportunity.
My work spans financial services, business consulting, consumer education, and entrepreneurship. As a licensed life insurance agent, I educate families about protecting and building their financial foundation, while my business consulting work helps aspiring entrepreneurs understand business structure, business credit, and the fundamentals of building sustainable enterprises.
As I expand into real estate operations and continue growing Flourish Bluestreak & Co. LLC, my mission remains the same: to bridge information and opportunity gaps and give women the knowledge, tools, and confidence to understand the rules, advocate for themselves, and build something of their own.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to prioritize learning over earning. Every opportunity should contribute to your growth—whether through new skills, greater responsibility, meaningful experience, or exposure to something that moves you forward. At the same time, know the value you bring to the table. If an environment is no longer helping you grow and consistently fails to compensate you fairly for your contributions, don’t be afraid to move on. Never become so comfortable that you allow comfort to turn into stagnation.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don’t wait for a seat at someone else’s table; build your own. My advice to young women is to become relentless about learning. Understand your industry, master your craft, and continue developing skills across legal education, business, finance, and entrepreneurship. Knowledge gives you the ability to create opportunities instead of waiting for someone else to give you permission to have one.
There are people and communities facing real challenges who need knowledgeable professionals willing to become resources and bridge information gaps. Learn the rules, understand your scope, build credibility, and never stop educating yourself. Whether you ultimately build your own company or grow within an organization, become so knowledgeable and resourceful that you can create impact wherever you are.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field is accessibility. Legal, financial, and business systems can be incredibly complex, leaving everyday people struggling to understand their rights, responsibilities, and available options. That challenge can be especially significant for families navigating family law or CPS matters, consumers facing financial issues, and women building businesses without extensive resources or institutional support.
At the same time, that creates an enormous opportunity for education. My work across consumer and legal education, business consulting, financial services, and now real estate operations allows me to help bridge those information gaps. I believe the opportunity is to make complex systems more understandable and give women practical, self-directed tools to advocate for themselves, protect what they are building, create financial stability, and make informed decisions with confidence.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Family is at the center of everything I do. My core values, both personally and professionally, are family, independence, education, integrity, and empowerment. I believe true independence comes from having the knowledge and resources to make informed decisions for yourself and the people who depend on you.
Education is equally important to me because knowledge can change the trajectory of a family. Whether I am helping someone better understand a legal process, educating a family about financial protection, supporting an entrepreneur building a business, or creating something for my own children to inherit, I believe in turning knowledge into action.
Ultimately, I want the work I build to create more than income. I want it to create stability, opportunity, and a legacy for my family while giving other women the tools to build those same things for themselves.
