Ten minutes with Fareeda
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my drive and commitment to excellence. I may not consider myself an overachiever, but I always strive to be great and deliver my best in everything I do. Whether it is a major project or even something as simple as picking up an order, I believe in giving it my full effort and ensuring that it is done with care, precision, and excellence.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received is to always document everything. Conversations can be misunderstood, but clear documentation creates accountability. I also learned to make every email professional, concise, and thoughtful, as if anyone could read it.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field is managing last-minute staffing changes. Even when we have candidates ready and available, cancellations can create gaps that need to be filled quickly. The opportunity is finding creative solutions—whether through flexibility, offering incentives, or reallocating resources—to ensure facilities have the support they need while maintaining quality care.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The value that is most important to me in both my work and personal life is honesty. I believe in being open and transparent with the people around me, whether professionally or personally. Building trust through truthfulness allows others to understand, respect, and view you with confidence and integrity.
