Her Story

About FARIHA

I am a cancer survivor, and while I continue to manage ongoing follow-up checkups and medical appointments, I remain committed to my work and passions. Outside of my professional life, I express myself through painting, working with different mediums and textures depending on what inspires me at the time, from watercolors to canvas work. I am actively involved with a nonprofit school organization, helping them with their organizational needs. This involvement began through my children and gradually grew into something I'm deeply passionate about. I believe strongly in honesty and integrity as guiding values in both my work and personal life. My journey through cancer has taught me that it's not the end but rather the beginning of a new life, opening new doors and challenges that I embrace with my full heart. I attribute my success to my parents and my husband, who has been my biggest supporter throughout everything.

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my parents and my husband, who is my biggest supporter.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would say focus on your studies, first and foremost. They are very important. Have a very solid base to start on, and then after finishing the studies, follow your passion. Follow wherever your heart takes you. Most of the women, they actually go by, oh my god, you know, I cannot do this. I cannot do this. There is no such thing as cannot. Everything is possible. All you have to do is just put your heart and mind to it, and everything will start falling in place.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Honesty and integrity.
