About Farrah
I started my banking career in June 2006 as a teller while going to college. My dream job was always to become Branch Manager. I am passionate about coaching, developing, motivating and supporting team members. I love to help and support customers achieve their dreams and be there for them during different life events. I am grateful to work for an incredible company, M&T Bank which is community focused. In my current role, I manage the branch operations, audits, coaching and development of team members, community outreach and helping consumer and small businesses achieve their financial goals. Banking is about guiding customers in their financial journey and help them achieve their goals.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my managers and mentors who believed in me. They truly provided me with the support, guidance and tools to achieve my career goals. I want to be able to support and make a difference in my team member's career development.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best advice I have ever received was to always look for the positive moments every day.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Believe in yourself and follow your dreams!
Building relationships is important in banking, always go above and beyond to help customers.
Banking is about making a difference in customer's lives while guiding them through life events.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in retail banking is balancing the increasing demand for digital banking solutions with the need to provide personalized customer experience. Successful leaders must ensure their teams deliver exceptional service while embracing innovation and helping customers navigate their financial needs.
