Felecia (Royal) Watson

I moved to the United States from Jamaica six years ago, where I had been working in commercial property management. When I came here, I made the decision to go back to school to pursue a career in accounting. I attended Rider University, where I completed my bachelor's degree in 2024 after starting in 2022, and then I went straight into my master's program and completed it in just one year in 2025. Now I work as an Audit Associate with KPMG, where I provide audit services to mostly public companies, reviewing their financial statements to make sure that they are true and accurate. Even though I've only been in my professional accounting career for one year, I've already completed several busy seasons and have had the opportunity to work on both private entities and public entities, which is something most people don't get to experience in their first year. It's been challenging but rewarding, and I'm proud of what I've accomplished so far.
