About Felicia
Felicia Brooks has been in the automotive industry for 6 years and in sales for 12 years. She entered the field seeking a flexible part-time schedule while pursuing online studies in finance and business management during a period of personal transition. Over the years, she has held positions across various front-end departments and continues to thrive in the industry. Her early mentor, a friend from the entertainment industry with nearly 40 years in automotive, provided influential guidance in this male-dominated field. Felicia attributes her success to a mindset of failing forward and remaining unafraid, motivated daily by the need to be brave for her two young daughters. She advises women entering the industry to embrace the long hours, recognize that effort yields results, and identify their personal why to persist through challenges. Outside of work, Felicia participates in community events such as the Fort Bend County Parade, which her company has sponsored.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I would just say that constant reminder of failing forward, not being afraid. You know, when you have kids looking back at you, it's almost impossible to say, I gotta be scared. Like, you have to be brave for them. And that alone, it gets me going every day.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
It's long hours, but it's been life-changing for me. And, you know, in anything that has to do with sales, you get what you put into it. So, if you're passionate about, you know, the product, or the people, or just trying to revamp yourself and where your next chapter is. Don't give up. I mean, the long hours are worth it. If you're not willing to lose sleep, sweat, fight, you know, get up in the morning for it, then what are you doing it for? You know, you have to keep pushing yourself and figuring out what your why is.
