About Felicia

Felicia Crutcher is a Community Associations Manager based in Dublin, Ohio, currently serving with Sentry Management, where she oversees a diverse portfolio of 11 residential communities, including a large homeowners association of more than 460 units. Having entered the property management field in 2020, she has spent nearly two years focused specifically on community association management after building a strong foundation as a property manager. In just six months, she rose from leasing agent to property manager, a rapid ascent that speaks to her drive and capability. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Tiffin University and is a board member of the Community Associations Institute (CAI), where she also participates in multiple committees, further establishing herself as an engaged leader within the industry. Beyond her core role in community association management, Felicia has cultivated a multifaceted career that reflects her entrepreneurial spirit and creative passions. She works as a photographer and recently became a health & wellness coach, expanding her professional footprint into wellness nutrition. Felicia is currently serving healthy meal replacements & energy teas at a few local shops which include Hilliard City Nutrition, Georgesvilles Square Nutrition, Obetz Nutrition. These ventures, paired with her management career, are all part of a broader vision to build lasting generational wealth for her family. Felicia became a mother at 19, an experience that deepened her resolve to balance career ambitions, education, and family responsibilities without letting obstacles stand in her way. She credits much of her drive to the powerful example set by her mother and the resilient women in her family, whose work ethic continues to shape how she approaches both her professional and personal life. Faith, family, and service remain central to who Felicia is outside of the office. My mother has taught me that true success creates opportunities to give back to others and that is what we continue to do any many ways. She finds fulfillment in life's simpler moments, whether that's cooking, pursuing photography, or spending time with loved ones. As a woman navigating and advancing within an industry historically shaped by male leadership, Felicia hopes to inspire other women to pursue leadership roles with empathy, patience, and confidence in their own value, all while showing her daughter that determination and resilience can overcome nearly any challenge.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Felicia

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to resilience, determination, and the belief that every opportunity can become a stepping stone to something greater. With seven years of experience in property management, I advanced from leasing agent to property manager in just ten months, and today I manage 11 residential communities, including a large homeowners association of more than 460 homes, with almost 2 years in Community associations management. Alongside my management career, I've expanded my skills into the health & nutrition world and pursuing photography as a creative passion, all with the vision of building lasting generational wealth for my family. I credit my unwavering work ethic to my mother and the strong women in my family. Becoming a mother at just 19 years old only strengthened my determination to succeed, and I've balanced work, education, and motherhood while refusing to let obstacles define my future. My greatest professional pride comes from earning the trust of the communities I serve and proving that consistent hard work, integrity, and a willingness to continuously learn can open doors to leadership. My philosophy is simple: success is earned through perseverance, gratitude, and showing up every day committed to becoming better than I was yesterday.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

One of the most impactful pieces of advice I ever received came from an experienced another property manager, woman of color, who challenged me to clearly define what made me different from everyone else. Learning to confidently communicate my value, not only what I could do, but why I deserved the opportunity, became a turning point in my career. That lesson continues to remind me that confidence, preparation, and authenticity are essential ingredients for long-term success.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I encourage young women to be patient with their journey and remember that success is built over time. I believe it's important to prioritize personal well-being, remain open to learning, and never allow temporary frustrations to overshadow long-term goals. I remind aspiring professionals that opportunities will continue to come, but maintaining a positive attitude, staying teachable, and consistently demonstrating professionalism are what truly set future leaders apart.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

I believe community association and property management continue to offer tremendous opportunities for women to lead with empathy, organization, and relationship-building skills. As more women step into leadership positions, we are reshaping an industry that has traditionally been influenced by male leadership and demonstrating the value of collaborative, people-centered management. I also recognize that balancing demanding careers with family responsibilities can be challenging, particularly for women pursuing leadership while raising children. However, I believe these experiences often strengthen resilience, time management, and emotional intelligence. By remaining committed to continuous learning, embracing new opportunities, and supporting one another's success, I believe women are helping redefine leadership while creating stronger communities for generations to come.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Faith, family, gratitude, and service are the cornerstones of my life. I draw continual inspiration from my mother, whose strength and work ethic demonstrated that perseverance and sacrifice create opportunities for future generations. Today, I hope to provide that same example for my own daughter, showing her through my actions that determination and resilience can overcome even the greatest challenges. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, photography, and spending meaningful time with loved ones. I believe self-care is found in life's simple moments—calling my mother for encouragement, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, taking pride in my appearance, and finding joy in everyday experiences. I also remain committed to giving back to the community, reflecting my belief that success is most meaningful when it creates opportunities to serve others.
