Felicia Henry

Felicia Henry is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare field. Inspired by a family legacy of nursing through her mother, grandmother, and aunts, she began her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant before advancing to Licensed Practical Nurse and pursuing additional clinical education. Her professional journey has included rehabilitation, hospice, med-surg, corrections, home health, critical care, and emergency care, giving her a broad and well-rounded perspective on patient needs.

Felicia currently serves as a Registered Nurse with Emory Healthcare, where her experience includes critical care, telemedicine, and acute care. Her clinical background encompasses ICU and emergency department environments, as well as virtual critical care, where she supports patient admissions, discharges, and acute-care needs. She has also held leadership responsibilities, including managing a psychiatric unit in a correctional setting, and has developed expertise in team building and collaborative patient care.

Committed to lifelong learning and professional excellence, Felicia earned a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership and Management from Capella University and a postgraduate degree in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner studies from Grand Canyon University. In 2013, she was nominated for membership in the International Honor Society in Nursing in recognition of her clinical contributions, including work supporting stroke-unit certification. Her career reflects perseverance, continuous learning, compassionate care, and a commitment to advancing patient outcomes across traditional and virtual healthcare settings.
