Her Interview

Ten minutes with Fidelma

01What do you attribute your success to?

I come from a place of grit. Your career doesn't grow for you, you need to put yourself into those situations and move forward even when it's not clear. You have to believe there's a path forward and have trust in the company and people. Most notable is how I've grown my network and influenced up and down, bringing others on the journey with me.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Learn your craft, network, be mobile and take risks to move forward. Have a tough skin in corporate America. Don't think about growth as a straight line, it ebbs and flows like the seasons. Don't underestimate your value and the power of what you've learned.
