Her Interview

Ten minutes with Fiorella

01What do you attribute your success to?

My success comes from how I grew up with my family. My parents have been together over 50 years and both worked very hard. My father worked with the oil company and my mom was a nurse. They took care of us five siblings through college. The business started as a blessing when I was working as a secretary in a cleaning company.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice is to keep learning and get out of your comfort zone. Learn everything you can, meet people, pay attention to what they say and do, and stay open-minded. Being focused on work and learning from different types of people helped me overcome being shy.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

You have to put all your effort in and always do your best, be on time and on point. Choose what you want in life and commit fully to success rather than parties or other distractions. I chose to focus on my career instead of clubbing and put everything into my work.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Respect is key - respect people and each other. In personal life, love, respect, and commitment are important, though balancing with a busy schedule is challenging.
