Her Interview
Ten minutes with Franchesca
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to having a good foundation from my family, especially my mom who showed hard work and balance, my dad, faith in myself and God/the universe, positivity, and reading books like E-Squared about the power of thoughts and words.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I received is to Dream Big from my mentor Eric Lochtefield. Don't be afraid to take risks because it's worse to live in regret than to fear. This has made me less fearful and more willing to take risks without regrets.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't be so hard on yourself. Learn as much as you can, continue to be a sponge, learn and take those risks because why not, the time is now.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is competition, but the key is to be valuable, a person of integrity, relationship-focused, provide value, and be yourself, which helps sift through competition as everyone has unique qualities.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Family is everything to me. Also friendship, professionalism, respect, and teamwork. Mutual respect in the workplace goes a long way.
