What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to consistency—showing up every day, staying committed over time, and always doing my best for the people I work with.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Take advantage of it, because it is so great, and the flexibility that is out there right now to have a family life and a professional life. It is so much easier now than what it used to be. I think there's so many more opportunities. The whole work-life balance is wonderful for individuals in all fields now. Women can really manage their family life now, with their families and the opportunities they have working from home or hybrid, and I think it's great.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is just the entire transition of everything that's going on now, just with the digital world and now with AI. It's just a lot. It's a huge challenge to transition over from where I started. But on the flip side, I think there is a tremendous amount of opportunity in the whole advertising media field, because it's just booming. I see job postings all the time. And it's great now, because some is hybrid, and most of them are hybrid or remote. Not many are on-site anymore, so I think that's a huge advantage for the younger generations. Their work-life balance is so important to them, and when I started out, it really wasn't like that. The whole work-life balance now is wonderful for individuals in all fields that they can do it.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Honesty and integrity are incredibly important to me in both my work and personal life, and above all, my family will always come first.
