About Francine

Francine Heintze is a retired educator with nearly 35 years of experience as a teacher, literacy specialist, and school principal. Now pursuing her passion for writing as an indie screenwriter, she creates screenplays grounded in Christian values and messages intended to encourage audiences and instill hope. She has completed a copyrighted screenplay and developed a curriculum guide aligned with Texas high school language arts standards to support its use in classrooms, along with a study guide for church groups to facilitate discussion and reflection. Her professional achievements include leading curriculum efforts as assistant principal in Alaska, where her K-12 school improved its district-wide reading ranking from number eight to number four, and achieving the highest first-round state assessment scores in school history as a fifth-grade language arts teacher in Houston, Texas. She is also authoring a Christian non-fiction inspirational book incorporating visuals and has entered her screenplay in the Kairos prize contest.
