Françoise Keli'imahia'i Mueller: Speaker: Francoise Mueller, Founder - Ohana Lifeline ConsultingFrancoise Mueller: So really take advantage of your education because a lot of us don't have that opportunity to get a good education. What does being an Influential Woman mean to you?Francoise Mueller: To me, influential woman is a. Wonderful platform to. Exemplify the success that women can achieve. Uh, we live in a man's world. Men, uh, run the world. We've never had a woman president. Um. You know, their faces are on our money. And, um. Women are meant to be. Housewives and cooks, uh, raise kids and, uh, make sure that dinner is on the table at 5 o'clock, but we're more than that, we're so much more than that, and now we have a voice, we have influential women, where we can show our our successes, our experience, our knowledge, we are not just caregivers. We are doctors, entrepreneurs, we are lawyers, judges, successful women like Kamala Harris, Marie Curie. Uh, Harriet Tubman. Um. Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Um. So I think it's, you know, time, it's time for women to thrive. And it's time for influential women. To be able to be seen and heard and acknowledged and to receive awards like this. So I'm happy to be here and I'm thankful. What's one piece of advice would you give to younger women chasing their dreams?Francoise Mueller: So a piece of advice I would give to younger women chasing their dreams is number one, get a good education. Don't just show up at school and check in, um, really apply yourself and listen, learn, absorb, uh, what you're taught in school. And um you may find a lot of the subject matter is interesting, inspiring, it may even uh meet up with uh your passion in life on what you would like to do in life. So really take advantage of your education because a lot of us don't have that opportunity to get a good education. Um, so that's 12, that education is going to help you formulate your thought process on what your career path is gonna look like, um, and, you know, incorporate your passion. In that career, um, process, so, you know, your education, your passion becomes your career, and so, um. That career can help you to not only be successful. And inspiring to other people. It could also be a. Platform that you can offer other people to learn from. You may be able to teach other women things that they never knew they could do. You may be able to inspire them to make better choices in their lives and to strive for excellence. And so, you know, that's the other thing I was going to tap into. Always strive for excellence. Don't settle for anything less. Reach for the stars, set your goals, meet those goals, exceed those goals, and just keep striving for excellence, um. Because then you can be a good influence on your community, um, and, um. You could be, um. Inspirational to so many people. Um, you could be, um. Teaching people life lessons they never learned from, uh, their parents or their peers or their teachers, um. And so that's really important, um, so use your success and share your success and your knowledge with others. Um, you could be so inspirational and so passionate about what you do that you could become the next president of the United States as an influential woman. Who could make huge changes. In this country. Um, don't make snap decisions. Uh, get advice from women who you, um, respect and, um, admire. And, um, and then really put a lot of thought into what you learn and weigh the pros and cons, do some research, don't make snap decisions. Next, um, as I said earlier, always strive for excellence. Um, let that be your, your drive, your power, your Um, motivation to keep it going, just up and up, just keep that, um, desire to strive for excellence, always alive and going. And then lastly, Do not ever be afraid to share your truth, because your truth could be my truth. Your truth could inspire someone to do something that they never thought they could do before. So never be afraid to share your truth. You can make a difference in the lives of so many people. And you could be that influential woman.

Her Story

About Françoise

Growing up Hawaiian

Born and raised in Kailua, Hawaii, Francoise Mueller embodies the true Aloha Spirit—a way of life rooted in kindness, connection, and compassion. Her father, a Hawaii native, and her mother, originally from France, taught her the values of hard work, faith, and service. Growing up in a small town where everyone knew each other shaped Francoise’s belief that community means no one gets left behind.

Throughout her life, Francoise has lived by that principle of ʻOhana. She has served in both public and private sectors, including working with the Lieutenant Governor of Hawaii, supporting nonprofit organizations that help young women and teens in crisis, and later, as a healthcare agent guiding seniors and veterans through Medicare and disability benefits.

Her love for helping others led her to establish Ohana Medicare, where she provides compassionate guidance to individuals and families facing life’s challenges. Through Ohana Lifeline, Francoise creates a safe space for clients to share, heal, and move forward with confidence—because to her, everyone is family.

Outside of her consulting work, Francoise is a mother of four and grandmother of seven, a worship singer, and a creative spirit who enjoys mandala painting and serving her church community. She hopes to one day return home to Kailua to continue her mission of service—living out the belief that in life, as in Hawaii, no one is left behind… we are all Ohana.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Françoise

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my desire to live a purpose driven life by being a positive influence in my community by serving others in need. I took a healthcare concern of my own and found help at The Aloha Counseling Center in Kailua Hawaii, my hometown, that lead to a very positive and supportive outcome. Because of this free and very kind effort by this non-profit organization I felt compelled to give back by volunteering. Over a matter of a few years, I went from a volunteer to the Executive Director of this small organization and grew it from one center to eight centers not only on Oahu, but on the neighboring islands of Maui and Kauai. This started my journey in Mastering my skills in healthcare to be able to do what I love and offer it to those who need it the most. Now with over 26 years of experience in healthcare, both as a consultant and through my work in the public and civil service sectors. I am also proud to lead Ohana Medicare, a nonprofit organization committed to serving and uplifting our communities across the country.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to prioritize building strong relationships and truly understand the needs of the people I serve. Through my own Story of Life, my experiences with healthcare professionals—and in my work supporting clients—I’ve learned how powerful it is for individuals to feel seen, heard, and valued. My career has also taught me that compassion must be paired with continuous learning. Every interaction is an opportunity to grow, refine my skills, and deepen my understanding of the complex healthcare landscape. In my role as a Benefits Consultant, I used Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools not just to stay organized, but to strengthen relationships, personalize guidance, and ensure every client received accurate, meaningful support. For me, professionalism means showing empathy, staying educated, and committing to lifelong learning so I can serve others with clarity, integrity, and respect.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to stay passionate, stay curious, and make continuous learning a priority. Let your life lessons impact your Passion to live a Purpose Driven Life. Mastering your skills — whether it be in health, finance or anything that serves a purpose greater than yourself — will give you the confidence and clarity needed to truly serve others.

At Ohana Medicare, we support Medicare beneficiaries, individuals with disabilities, and veterans as they navigate complex healthcare systems and access essential resources. This work requires both compassion and competence. When you commit to educating yourself, strengthening your expertise, and understanding the unique needs of the people you serve, you build a career that is not only successful but deeply meaningful.

A purposeful path in this field comes from pairing heart with knowledge — and choosing every day to grow, learn, and uplift the communities who rely on you.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in this industry is educating customers about how Medicare works and helping them make confident, informed decisions. Because we often work against tight timelines, I’ve learned how important it is to make myself as available as possible and to respond quickly to calls and emails. Balancing work and life sometimes means supporting customers in small, manageable increments — but taking things step by step helps prevent them from feeling overwhelmed. By breaking information down, staying patient, and meeting people where they are, I can guide them through the process with clarity, compassion, and professionalism.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I’d say the values that shine through for me are all about compassion and community. I really focus on making sure that no one gets left behind and that everyone feels heard. Plus, creativity pops up too, like with my painting style is definitely a form of sacred geometry. It’s that blend of creativity and meaning that really reflects your values. My love for music and singing is really a reflection of my passion for connecting spiritually. It’s like my way of having those meaningful conversations and that’s something really special. And of course, it’s clear I value learning and staying dedicated. So, I’d say I'm all about heart, growth, and staying close to my roots!
