Her Interview
Ten minutes with Gabby
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my mom. She was a very impactful educator. She was a middle school teacher, and then ended up moving into a position where she was coaching other teachers, and just approached her every day with so much passion for her work, creativity, and just genuineness that it always inspired me and encourages me to keep going and just doing what I love.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
One of my professors in terms of writing specifically encouraged me to just always focus on the human aspect of what I do, and of being an artist, and to kind of let everything else unfold. As it's meant to, if you're just showing up as yourself, and putting your authentic words out there, I think that the opportunities that are meant to find you will.
