Her Story

About Gabriell

Gabrielle Pittman brings a decade of sales experience to her role as manager of the sales team at Galley and Firm, where she has worked since May. In this position, she leads non-attorney salespeople in managing all client consultations, allowing attorneys to focus exclusively on retained cases. Pittman began her career in marketing and transitioned through car sales before entering the legal field, where her skills in data tracking, KPIs, and closing quickly led to her becoming the top salesperson and then sales manager at a prior firm. She holds a GED and has pursued extensive professional development through Cardone growth conferences and studies of Gary Vaynerchuk. Pittman credits her father, a business owner who prioritized employees and clients even in challenging markets, as the source of her emphasis on integrity and doing work correctly the first time. Outside her professional life, she remains active in Christian ministry outreach and her sons' select baseball organization.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Gabriell

01What do you attribute your success to?

I would honestly say my dad. Because he… I saw him my whole life as a business owner in markets that were failing, and still put his employees first and his clients first. And he showed me that that hard work really does pay off, because once the market was better and everyone was in a place where they could have him be their contractor again, they called him. And it's because of that honesty and that integrity that he had in his work, and so I think just having integrity in what you do and doing it right the first time is so important, and I don't think that I would have that fundamental without my dad.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Find something you like, and become the best. Become a professional in it. And where… because where your passion is, the money will follow.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

I would say the biggest challenge Is that we are in… a… Social media World, where everyone has their phones in their hands, and they don't really quite understand what this process is like if you were arrested for a criminal charge, or the fact that they actually do have the right to fight it, and just because they've been arrested doesn't mean that it's going to haunt them for the rest of their lives. And so I think the biggest challenge is getting people to see that there is relief, and that we are that relief, of course, right? So I would say that Helping them feel that relief, and that's… I would say every call that I have, that's my biggest goal, is trying to figure out what it is that's hurting them and causing them the stress, and then I'm just Like, you know, helping them figure out how we can help them get that resolved.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Kind. And… And… and just listening more than I speak.
