Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to building genuine connections with patients and personalizing every interaction. One memorable experience involved a mother caring for two children with type 1 diabetes. By listening, understanding her concerns, and showing how our product could monitor and manage her children’s needs overnight, I helped give her kids more freedom and her peace of mind. Moments like these—relieving stress and restoring normalcy—are why I’m passionate about the work I do.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I ever received was from my grandfather, who told me that when you put others' needs before yours, you can learn so much that you didn't even know, just in your day-to-day. He taught me to pay attention to things that other people are going through, to be personable, and put them first, especially with patients. My grandfather was like my everything, my best friend, and he passed last year, so it's been really hard for all of us. I'm remembering him all the time, and this advice touches me in my current role, because I'm constantly trying to give back to patients their confidence in their day-to-day life.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to recognize that you are capable of far more than you realize. Never underestimate yourself or undersell your abilities in any conversation. It’s normal to feel overwhelmed at times—wondering if you can handle a challenging situation or speak confidently with a physician—but remember that you’re here for a reason. Others believe in you, and it’s essential that you believe in yourself. Stay self-assured, do your best, and trust that your dedication and skills will carry you forward.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest opportunities in my field right now is helping patients gain more control and freedom in managing their diabetes. Devices like Omnipod eliminate the need for multiple daily injections and feature no tubing, which simplifies daily management and improves quality of life. While our team develops these solutions, we work closely with doctors and patients to ensure smooth implementation and integration with CGM devices like Dexcom. The challenge—and the opportunity—lies in continuing to provide technology that is both effective and easy to use, empowering patients to live their lives with confidence.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Family is a core value for me—growing up, I was inspired by the care and leadership of my mother and grandmothers. In my work, I focus on building genuine connections with patients, personalizing every conversation, and empowering them to feel fully in control of their daily lives.
