About Gabrielle
Gabrielle Brichta works in the Israeli Desk Division at Israel Discount Bank in New York, where she services American and Israeli businesses and personal accounts for high net worth customers. Her responsibilities include day-to-day operations, opening accounts, and maintaining relationships, drawing on her psychology degree from Binghamton to resolve issues and provide a personal touch. After earning her degree, she taught kindergarten for one year before entering banking in 2019. She previously worked at BHI in the commercial and lending division handling loans and currency trades. Brichta attributes her professional success to her mother, who has been a motivating figure emphasizing passion in one's work. She is involved with Friends of Israel Defense Forces through attending galas and has a strong personal connection to Israel, having grown up speaking Hebrew.

01What do you attribute your success to?
My mom has been a figure of motivation throughout my working career. She worked because she was very passionate about what she did. She always said you have to love what you do in order to succeed, and I attest my success to her.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Be patient, ask a lot of questions, do whatever you can to make yourself stand out, take as many courses as you can, always be the first to want to make a difference or help someone or be a team player, and always be honest and true to yourself.
