About Gabrielle

Higher education administrator, student success leader, and academic program specialist with extensive experience in college access, student transition support, and institutional operations. Currently serves as Associate Director of College Access, Success, and Transitions at the University of Dayton, supporting student pathways into and through higher education by developing programs that strengthen access, retention, and academic success.

Previously served in multiple academic leadership roles at the University of Cincinnati, including Associate to the Dean of the Graduate College and Program Manager in the Office of the Registrar. Led initiatives related to residency compliance, student services operations, and cross-campus coordination while ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations. Also contributed to financial literacy programming and student advising services through the university’s student support systems.

Earlier experience includes student success and admissions mentorship roles at The Ohio State University, where responsibilities included admissions support, first-year student engagement, diversity and inclusion programming, and leadership of large-scale student events such as the African American Heritage Festival.

Holds a PhD in Educational Studies and a Master’s degree in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from the University of Cincinnati, with a strong academic foundation in equity, education systems, and student development theory.

Recognized for expertise in student success programming, academic advising systems, compliance management, and equity-centered educational leadership focused on improving access, retention, and outcomes in higher education.
