Gabrielle Roussos
Gabrielle Roussos is the Founder and CEO of Oui Productions, a Los Angeles–based full-service creative production company serving brands, agencies, and creatives in advertising and marketing. With over 18 years of experience in entertainment and production, she has built a career centered on transforming complex creative visions into seamless, high-quality commercial productions. Her leadership style—often described as “Entreproducer™”—blends entrepreneurial thinking with hands-on production expertise, emphasizing collaboration, transparency, and trust as the foundation for all client and team relationships.
Raised in Los Angeles, Gabrielle began her career working across styling, wardrobe, and assisting roles before moving into in-house production at a major fashion brand. There, she developed a strong foundation in logistics, project management, and creative operations, eventually evolving into a full-time producer. After years of industry experience and freelance work, she founded Oui Productions in 2015, growing it into a values-driven company known for efficiency, innovation, and a deeply collaborative approach to creative work. Her education includes studies at the University of California, Berkeley, where she focused on art and environmental economics and policy, along with additional training in fine arts in Italy.
Beyond production, Gabrielle is committed to building a positive creative ecosystem that extends into community engagement and mentorship. She has served in leadership and advisory roles supporting youth development and nonprofit initiatives, and she integrates wellness and connection into her company culture through practices like creative community hikes and volunteer production work. Her approach to leadership is grounded in resilience, service, and long-term relationship building, with a focus on elevating both creative standards and human connection within the production industry.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to resilience, determination, and a measure of good fortune. I also value vulnerability—the willingness to acknowledge when I do not have all the answers—as a strength that supports my growth. In addition, my entrepreneurial mindset has enabled me to recognize possibilities, take initiative, and turn ideas into meaningful outcomes.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
One of the best career lessons I’ve received came from an employee who told me, “Be a human being, not a human doing.” It reminds me to lead with intention and values, trust my instincts, and not compromise who I am in the pursuit of productivity or success.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise young women entering my industry to trust their instincts and not compromise who they are in the process of building their careers. Surround yourself with a strong, supportive team and invest in meaningful relationships, as they are key to long-term success. At the same time, remain resilient and adaptable, since growth often comes through change and challenge.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenges in my field include barriers to entry in unionized entertainment work and ongoing industry shifts, particularly since the 2008 recession. However, there is steady demand for advertising, which requires flexibility and adaptability. At the same time, community recovery efforts, such as wildfire relief in Los Angeles, present meaningful opportunities for philanthropic engagement.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
My most important values in both my work and personal life include an abundance mindset, integrity, collaboration, resilience, and leading with values while trusting my intuition. I also prioritize staying grounded in the things that bring me joy—making pottery in my own small studio, baking, playing tennis, and spending time outdoors with my dog, especially on hikes and in nature.
