About Gaby
Gaby Fonseca currently works in the diagnostics space at Credel Ortho, where she focuses on supply chain operations. Prior to this role, she was employed at a consumer goods company in the wellness sector. She is certified in project management and Lean Six Sigma. Fonseca completed her undergraduate degree at CSUSM and has recently taken a course on strategic management at Harvard Extension School. While at Watkins Wellness, she earned the Own It award for her accountability and commitment. She engages in mentorship initiatives, assisting CSUSM students with informational interviews and internships in the North County San Diego area. Fonseca emphasizes the importance of curiosity, confidence, and speaking up, particularly for women in male-dominated fields like supply chain and diagnostics.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Curiosity goes a long way in learning how things work and being able to intelligently speak about what data or what project or process you're working on. Being in a male-dominated space, it can be at times intimidating... speak up in those settings... having confidence in yourself and in the work you do will allow somebody to be able to shine and succeed and speak confidently about what they know.
