Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to keeping my eyes focused on my mission, moving ahead and helping as many people as I can achieve their goals. It is of utmost importance that I absolutely enjoy my profession, and I always surround myself with a dedicated team of professionals. Teamwork makes the dream work!

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice that I have ever received is to always remember that in life and business "People will not care how much you know, until they know and understand how much you care."

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering my industry is to never give up on your dreams. Don't listen to the negative voices that may try to discourage you. Building a brand and career takes time and patience. Keep smiling and look to people who have succeeded in this field. The objective is to become unique by putting your own twist and stamp on your product and brand, to be outstanding in your field. There are enough copycats out there. Find your niche and run with it!

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge in my field right now is having to compete with artificial intelligence - A.K.A. - A.I. We need to stay authentic and original. When writing, we need to create original copy that is not written by A.I. There are so many companies these days that are using A.I. to replace journalists and writers. The biggest opportunities include the ability to write and publish your own story. Write a book. Share health and wellness information with your community and the world. Be proud of what you contribute to society, because it was created by you, and not a robot. Become an entrepreneur! Put your sign on the door. Become an expert in your field and believe in the value of what you offer and who you are.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me include: kindness, honesty, integrity, loyalty, true friendship, and showing God's love to as many people as possible, by being an example. Be the supervisor and/or friend you would like to have.
